Lasting Memories are highly personalised. You supply your favourite photographs and photo images, which are then cast in bronze forever – creating an eternal testimony of love and respect for your loved one.
Tips for Lasting Memories photos.
Choosing photos:
· Choose original photos in colour or black and white (no photocopies).
· Choose photos with good contrast. Avoid washed-out photos.
· Photos that are out of focus, faded or need to be retouched because of scratches, tears or stains etc, may result in additional charges.
· Remove photos from mounting or frames.
· If only a portion of a photo is to be used, that portion must be clearly specified – e.g.: is all the detail in the photo to be included? Which background images are essential? What should or can be committed?
Scanning Photos:
· If your scanner software offers you the option of Preview or a Pre Scan, choose this so you can crop unnecessary parts of the photo and thus reduce your file size.
· Choose a resolution of 150 dpi-300 dpi for a standard-sized photo 90mm x 127mm.
· Make sure the scanner bed is free of dust. Clean with lint-free paper or cloth.
· Photos may be either a horizontal or vertical format.
· File formats accepted EPS, PSD, JPEG, TIFF
· Your photos may be presented with your order by mail, email or CD.
